Our Training Projects
Electrical Training Classes, Department Of Veterans Affairs (Va) – Perry Point, MD
Citrine is providing the following two in-person electrical training classes at the Perry Point VA Medical Center: (1) basic electricity safety for non-electricians; and (2) electrical troubleshooting for electricians. The classes include various subjects such as NFPA 70E, Arc Flash Protection, Lockout/Tagout and National Electrical Code information. The students attending are from the facilities and engineering service shops at the Medical Center. Each class consists of two 8-hour days, with 12 students in each class. Students will receive a certificate of completion at the end of each course.
NFPA 70E Electrical Safety in the Workplace Training – Department of Energy, Phoenix AZ
In 2020 Citrine performed in-person NFPA 70E training and arc flash awareness for over 150 personnel for the Department of Energy. The training was based on the 2018 NFPA 70E standard and OSHA regulations. It included low voltage, high voltage, and arc flash safety topics. The training was presented by an NPFA Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP). The training included presentation materials, the NFPA 70E standard reference book, and completion certificates for all attendees.
NFPA 70E Electrical Safety in the Workplace Training – National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Washington DC
In 2020 Citrine performed in-person NFPA 70E training and arc flash awareness for the facilities team that manages over 2,000,000 square feet of space for the Department of Commerce. The training was based on the 2018 NFPA 70E standard and OSHA regulations. It included low voltage, arc flash safety topics, PPE demonstrations, and a review of previous case studies. The training was presented by an NPFA Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP). The training included presentation materials, the NFPA 70E standard reference book, and completion certificates for all attendees.
NFPA 70E Electrical Safety in the Workplace Training – Department of Energy, Virtual
In 2020 Citrine performed NFPA 70E training and arc flash awareness for over 40 personnel for the Department of Energy via WexEx. The training was based on the 2018 NFPA 70E standard and OSHA regulations. It included low voltage, high voltage, and arc flash safety topics. The training was presented by an NPFA Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP). The training included presentation materials, the NFPA 70E standard reference book, and completion certificates for all attendees. Testing, Q&A, team interaction, and surveys were performed through the online meeting platform.
